Jack R. Palo, 84 of West Springfield. Pa passed away Thursday December 2, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa. The son of Jacob F. and Violet (Vacco) Palo.
Jack served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1960 until 1962 obtaining the rank of SPC4 before being honorably discharged.
He retired from the Local Boilermakers Union and was a member of West Springfield VFW and the Federated Church in East Springfield.
Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling in his younger years, and was an exceptional athlete playing baseball and basketball in high school. Most of all he enjoyed being with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include his son David (Michele) Palo of Powell Ohio; grandchildren, Andrew and Anna Palo; and nephews Jacob (Katelyn) and James Palo, and Mark and Michael (Kandy) Holley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dennis Palo and his sister Dolores Holley.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday December 11, 2021 at East Conneaut Cemetery with Rev. Ed Huntley officiating. Military honors conducted by American Legion Cowle Post # 151.
