James & Joyce Parker Obituary

Mr. and Mrs. Parker are together again. Joyce M. (Huffman) passed away April 21, 2020 and James E. passed away November 20, 2024 both while receiving care at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation center in Kingsville, OH.

Joyce was born November 19, 1928 in Dover, OH to Clyde and Vera (Hayes) Huffman and James was born February 14, 1933 in Erie, PA to Clell and Ruth (Thomas) Parker.

James enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Korean War from 1953-1955 and was honorably discharged.

They each had a love for animals, camping, fishing and being with family.

In 1967 they were married and raised each other’s children as their own. Joyce had three daughters prior Rosemarie (Tom) Noce, Patricia Haynes, Diana (Robert) Blood and James had a son Les (Terri Mabs) Parker and three daughters Darla (Wayne) Hicks, Kim (Eugene) Carter, Kathy (Keith) Aldrich then together had a daughter Tonia (Greg) Perez and a loving abundance of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Graveside services for James and Joyce will be 11:00am, March 22, 2025 in Kelloggsville Cemetery with Pastor Larry Carr officiating. Military honors for James honorable service will be provided by the American Legion Cowle Post #151.

The Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH has been entrusted with their services.
