Jan Dipippo Obituary

Jan E. Dipippo, 72, of Conneaut passed away Thursday June 27, 2019 at UH Geauga Hospital.  She was a retired school bus driver for Citrus Co. in FL.

Jan enjoyed country music, collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia and following RSR race team in which her husband Ron helped with.

Jan was a fighter, she'd had many bouts in the ring of life and somehow came out with just a few bruises and scratches each time. She was a true miracle. When Jill, Coca & I arrived a couple of weeks ago we thought it was a TKO but Jan got back up to fight and by the time Jon, Judy & Cindy arrived she was ready for another fight in the ring of life. Who would have thought she'd live to fight again but she did. But how many times can you be knocked down and get back up, she had all of our support at the end and I know that she felt blessed that we all showed up. Our being there gave her another round of life a second breath a determination to go forward and hope for the future. I know we all had the pleasure and satisfaction of speaking with Jan over these past two weeks and exchanging "I love you's" with each other. A blessing in disguise. Jan's soulmate Ronnie kept us up-to-date over this time period and was very kind and loving to our sister over the past two decades and his being there for Jan was another blessing for us.
Gratitude to all the nurses and doctors who took care of Jan throughout her lifetime they are the unsung heroes. They picked her up brushed her off and put her back in the ring.
So it's sad, especially losing our first sibling, it makes you hesitate and reflect on your life, we all hear over and over how short life is, I don't think I have to say it again.
Jan you were loved by us all, we're so happy to have had the opportunity to see and visit with you, you brought us all together to see your last fight, God in the end stopped the fight and gave you a ten count, you don't have to fight any more, rest in his ever loving and lasting arms.

Survivors include Ron Varkett her significant other for the past twenty years; siblings, John (Cindy) Ellsworth, Jordan (Coca) Ellsworth, Jill (John) Cacciatore and Judy Ellsworth and her dog Peanut.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Richard Thompson.

A Celebration of life will be held at the family’s convenience.

Contributions may be made to the family.
