Janet E. (Thornton) Manosh

Janet E. Manosh, 82, of Conneaut, OH, went to be with God on August 2, 2024 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 7, 1942 in Conneaut, the daughter of Virgil and Abbie (Maine) Thornton.

Janet loved all living things and enjoyed planting flowers in her yard and working on her house. She was known for doing things she shouldn’t, like replacing windows and putting a roof on her shed. There was nothing she wouldn’t attempt.

She is survived by her daughter Jill St. Cyr and Fiancée Dennis Whipple of Morrisville, VT; grandsons Joshua and Jordan St. Cyr; and great-granddaughters Layla and Kennedi St. Cyr, all of Morrisville, VT. She is also survived by her nephew Terry Soltis and family, and her niece Sheri Walbridge and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Laura Jean Warren; brother Virgil “Gus” Thornton; and brother-in-law Bernard Soltis.

Janet will be greatly missed but will live on in our hearts.

Inurnment will take place at the convenience of her family in Morrisville, VT.
