Jeffrey W. DiPolito “BIG SEXY”, 58 of Conneaut, OH died September 30, 2023 following a brief illness at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born on July 20, 1965 in Buffalo, NY and was the son of Beckie R. (Whitmore) and Felix Burgos.
Jeff graduated from South Ridge Christian Academy and spent his entire life making others smile.
He was one of a kind! There was never a dull moment with “Big Sexy” in your presence. Sunday fundays were his favorite and loved riding his Harley Davidson, meeting new friends and spending time with old ones, dressing like Santa Clause when he worked for Harley Davidson of Erie but the best moment in this life was meeting his grandson Leo for the first time, the smile on his face beamed with pride.
Anyone who knew Jeff knew his passion was cooking! Aside from always encouraging a friend with words, he showed his love to others with the incredible platters of food or baked goods he would create and share.
He was the head chef at the Edinboro-McKean VFW post 740 and in the past had been a chef at the Bombay Restaurant and Bar at Days Inn in Conneaut.
Survivors include his mother Beckie (Whitmore) Burgos of Conneaut, OH, son Steven (Mindy) DiPolito of East Springfield, PA and four brothers Joseph (Pat) DiPolito of DeLand Fl, Jack (Penny) DiPolito of Lake City, PA., Michael (Skeeter Marshall) DiPolito of Conneaut, OH and Felix Burgos of TX and a sister Amy Burgos of TX; and a very special grandson Leo DiPolito of East Springfield and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Felix Burgos, brother George DiPolito and a sister Carmen McMann.
A Celebration of Life will be October 15, 2023 from 1:00-6:00 PM at the Edinboro-McKean VFW Post 740, 10613 PA-98, Edinboro, PA 16412 . This will be a time to share and remember all the great memories of “Big Sexy”.
Memorial Contributions can be made in his memory to Edinboro-McKean VFW post 740.
Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut has been entrusted with his arrangements.
