Jerald Ross Gee

Jerald Ross Gee, 86, of Conneaut, passed away at his Florida residence on Friday, June 11, 2021, in Debary, FL. He was born in Conneaut OH in 1934, the son of Bernard and Lulu Hall Gee.

Jerry was a graduate of Rowe High School and worked for the Conneaut Telephone Company for 45 years. He retired in 1996 as the inside supervisor. He enjoyed playing golf, computer games, playing guitar and singing country music, Jerry helped upgrade Skippon Field, liked doing family genealogy, and was a big Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family.

He was a member of the West Springfield United Methodist Church, Monroe Athletic Club, Conneaut Historical Society, Ashtabula Genealogy Society, life member of SAR, and was an original member of Bluebell Campground where he spent many summers. For over 20 years, he and his wife Patricia wintered in Debary, FL. 

Survivors include his wife Patricia (Miller) Gee; children Lynda (Phil) Rossitor of Madison, Jeffery (Cathy) Gee of Jefferson, and Diane (George) Baldwin of Edinboro; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; his siblings Alfred (Ellen) Gee of Conneaut, William (Fran) Gee of Warren, OH, George (Wanda) of Thompsonville, NC, and Pearl Brand of Conneaut.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Arlene Carpenter, and Barbara Barnes; and brother David Gee.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH. Burial will follow in East Conneaut Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday, June 18, 2021 and from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
