June L. (Smith) Walton

June L. Walton, 91, formerly of Conneaut, OH died peacefully on January 9, 2021 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

She was born June 1, 1929 in Linesville, PA and was the daughter of Clarence and DeEtta (Wheeler) Smith.

She worked for 17 years at the former Premix as a product finisher.

June was a member of the Kelloggsville Church of the Nazarene where she was an organist for many years and involved with missionary work.

She enjoyed to sew and quilt, belonging to the Conneaut Quilters Guild and made many items for family, friends and anyone in need.

Survivors include her daughters Carolyn “June” Robison of Meadville, PA, Beverly Mattair of New Caney, TX, and Sandra Armstrong of Albion, PA; her son Donald of Buckeye, Arizona; seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald whom she married on August 10, 1948; a daughter Linda Culipher;  son David Walton;  granddaughter Michelle Gevin; and grandson Curtis Walton.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic a private funeral service will be held with burial in Kelloggsville Cemetery at a later date.

The Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center 208 Liberty St. Conneaut, OH have been entrusted with arrangements.
