Kevin D. Eddy

Kevin D. Eddy, 67, of Ashtabula, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. He was born December 14, 1955 in Conneaut, the son of Robert E. and Joyce A. (Giles) Eddy.

Kevin was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for Plycraft. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and skeet-shooting in his younger years, being with his family, and frequenting the local “social” establishments. He was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan.

Survivors include his daughter Cherry (Shawn) Houser of North Kingsville; his son Duane Eddy of Conneaut; sister Lisa Eddy of Ashtabula; brother Dean (Mary) Eddy of Conneaut; half-sister Cheryl Renaud of Dayton, OH; grandchildren Alisha, Paige (Dallis), Bobby (Sadie), and Cody (Julie); great-grandchildren Emerson, Weston, Carter, Adalynn, Lilith, and Aiden; and sister-in-law Genelle Eddy.

Also surviving are his nieces Megan, Joyce, Ashley, and Melissa; nephews Justin, Wayne, Aaron, Jr., Bobby, Jason, and Brian Eddy; and several great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Diane Meinke; and brothers Duane in infancy and Aaron.

Celebration of life will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Marcy Family Center, 180 Harbor St., Conneaut (directly across from the Marcy Funeral Home.)
