Kimberly C. (Hockenberry) Pifer

Kimberly C. Pifer, 65, of Conneaut, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born May 17, 1957 in New Kensington, PA, the daughter of Kenneth Hockenberry and Katherine “Kay” Shannon.

Kimberly graduated from Conneaut High School and worked as the assistant manager for Ashtabula Towers Housing Authority. She was Christian by faith. She had once lived in Germany and in Texas, and enjoyed traveling, going out to eat, and donated to many charities. She was very active with Tracy and Mike David’s Cancer Support Group.

Kimberly loved her family, especially her grandkids, and enjoyed hanging out with her siblings.

Survivors include her son Tommy Summers of Conneaut; her daughters Jessica Lott of Galion, OH, and Katherine Summers of Conneaut; grandchildren Damion Lynch, Samantha Lott, Ethan Osborne, and Ryder Hayes; sisters Kathy tinker, Karla (Donald) Ransom, and Coralie (Mark) Laughner; and brothers Kenneth (Kelly) Hockenberry, Kary Hockenberry, Sean Shannon, and Ross Shannon.

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Hockenberry, her mother Katherine “Kay” Shannon, step-father Phillip Shannon; and brothers Kevin Hockenberry and Mark Shannon.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
