Kurtis A. Helman

Kurtis A. Helman, 69, of Conneaut, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday October 4, 2023.  Born April 18, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Eric and Carlene (Fowler) Helman. 

Kurtis was a self-employed contractor until his retirement.

He enjoyed writing music, playing the guitar, singing, drawing and camping.

Survivors include his children, Veronica Helman, Victoria (Kyle) Lewis, Venessa Hreha, and Reno Helman; nine grandchildren; sister, Rikki Gruden; and the children’s mother, Jeannie Helman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-6:00 PM Saturday October 28, 2023 at the Marcy Funeral Center, 180 Harbor St., Conneaut, Ohio.  Located across the street from the funeral home. 

The arrangements have been entrusted to the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
