Ladimir Kubichek Obituary

Ladimir (Sparky) Kubichek, Jr. Ladi (81) died at peace in the loving arms of Jesus on January 15, 2022.

Ladi was born on the family farm in Sheffield on November 1, 1940 to Ladimir and Mary Kubichek, Sr. He Attended Kingsville School and graduated in 1958. He also Attended Ohio State University for 1 year where he met the love of his life MaryJo McCauley.

He was in the Peace Corp, Nigeria from 1964-66. When he returned home he married MaryJo on December 17, 1966 and were happily married until her death in 2008. They raised 2 children, Doug and Julie.

He worked for CEI until his retirement in 1993. He was always around to volunteer a helping hand with whatever he could.

He was in many organizations such as National, State, County and Sheffield Star Grange, Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club, a Hospice Volunteer for 10 years, Red Cross blood drive, he loved singing in the church choirs, a member of Gageville UMC and attended Kingsville Baptist Church the past 10 years.

At 81 he wanted everyone that he met to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. So it's your turn to be a mustard seed and ask everyone "Do you know Jesus as your personal savior".

He leaves behind a daughter, Julie (Eric) Byers, brother Rev. Kenneth (Jean)  Kubichek, sister Marge Kubichek, daughter in law Julie (Heath) Edwards, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he called family.

Ladi was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife, his son and his sister Emily (Louie) Sedmak.

Education was very important to Ladi, if you would make contributions to your children's or grandchildren's education fund, Liberty University Law School, local Missionaries or the Hospice of the Western Reserve in his name it would be greatly appreciated.

Ladi requested no calling hours,  Hey family and friends!
