Larry Frank Headley

Larry Frank Headley, 82, of Painesville, formerly of Monroe Township, OH, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026. He was born November 30, 1943 in Conneaut, the son of Leland and Grace (Tuttle) Headley.

Larry graduated from Rowe, Class of 1961, and worked for National Acme in Cleveland in data processing.

He enjoyed spending time working on his Uncle Franks farm and learned so much from him. He enjoyed going on Monroe Fire Dept. Bus trips, going to the Casino, attending County Fairs, traveling all over, and attending his Rowe Class of ’61 dinners at The Crows Nest.

Most of all, family was everything to him. He and all his cousins had such a special bond and made many memories together.

Larry was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather, having a great sense of humor and known to say, “It is what it is.”

Survivors include his wife Kathryn (Mosier) Headley whom he married November 14, 1973; daughters Lynette (Shane) Gregory of Colebrook, Jill (Kelly) Spiker of Brookfield, Cheri Rupnow of Concord, and Suzi (Ted) Goldthorpe of Conneaut; son Scott (Angie) Headley of Austintown; grandchildren Jason (Vanessa) Headley, Brittany (Cole) Kovach, Hanna Gregory, Paige Rupnow, Bob Rupnow, Katie Nicoloff, Abby Headley, Nathan Headley, Calvin Headley, and Elsie Spiker; great-grandchildren Peyton, Cameron, Estelle, Anna, and Connor; and several nieces, nephews, and many beloved cousins; dear friend Bonnie Brain of Pierpont, OH who was like a sister to him and he a brother to her.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert and Charles Headley, and very special sister-in-law Alice Headley.

Memorial service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH who is honored to be entrusted with his arrangements.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the time of the service at 1:00PM

Burial will follow in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Monroe Township, OH.
