Larry H Huston

Larry H. Huston, 70, of Ashtabula, passed away Wednesday morning, May 12, 2021 at Lake Pointe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Conneaut, OH. He was born March 2, 1950 in Conneaut, the son of Edmon and Irene (Pickens) Huston. Larry graduated from Edgewood High School and earned his associates degree from Kent State Ashtabula. He worked as a cashier for Giant Eagle and worked for Peoples Savings and Loan. He was United Methodist by Faith, and enjoyed playing board games, listening to records, watching Sci-Fi movies, politics, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. Survivors include his wife Rebecca (Webb) Huston, whom he married June 8, 1985; his brother Dick (Evelyn) Huston of Arizona; sister-in -law Karen (Rev. Vernon) Palo of Carrolton, OH, brother-in-law’s Paul Webb of Ashtabula, and Mark (Theresa) Webb of Bristolville, OH; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 22, 2021 at State Line United Methodist Church, 7321 Bushnell Rd., Conneaut, with Larry’s brother-in-law Rev. Vernon Palo, Pastor of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church officiating. Inurnment will take place at 9:00 A.M. prior to calling hours at Kelloggsville Cemetery, Monroe Township, OH. Friends may call at State Line United Methodist Church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the A.P.L., 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, OH, 44004 in honor of Larry's love for his cats. He and Becky adopted two of their cats from the A.P. L. Envelopes will be available at the church, and also at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, which is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
