Larry A. Tome 87 of North Kingsville, OH passed away on October 8, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 13, 1938 in West Springfield, Pennsylvania to Allen and Sophie (Ross) Tome.
Larry worked for Firestone Tire for many years in different departments before becoming disabled following an accident.
He was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness where he and his wife would travel all over with their food trailer providing meals to hundreds of people building each new Kingdom Hall over the years.
Larry enjoyed bowling, traveling, mowing the grass, tinkering in his garage, working on cars and watching TV. Most of all he cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Phyllis (Bohrer) who he married June 13, 1959; three daughters Katie (Brian) Martin of Minerva, OH, Kathy (Tim) Little of North Kingsville, OH and Karla (Ben Manuel) Flack of Conneaut, OH and one son Steve (Tracy) Tome of Albion, PA; two step-sisters Mary (James) Holowach, and Ellie (James) McKinney; grandchildren Rachel (Tim) Whitfield, Samuel Tome, Nicolas Nolan, Vincent Nolan, Alexis Flack, Brandon Martin, and Dustin Martin; and two great grandchildren Lilliana Nolan and Vada Marsch.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather Robert Leeroy Greenlee; and a stepbrother Robert Greenlee.
In keeping with Larry’s wishes, there will be a private service held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness at the convenience of the family.
