Linda L. (Bowers) Summers

Linda L. Summers, 79, of Conneaut, OH, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, surrounded by family at Lake Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on May 11, 1946, in Conneaut, OH, the daughter of Harold and Elsie (Albee) Bowers.

Linda worked for many years at the Silver Diner, where she was known for her cooking and baking. She also spent time working at the Pie Factory in Lake City, PA, and later operated her own restaurant, Mom & Dad’s Family Restaurant. Creative and talented, Linda loved crafting and especially enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for those she loved. She was also an enthusiastic Cleveland Indians/Guardians fan.

Linda will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the gentle way she treated everyone she met. Her family is deeply grateful to the nurses at Lake Pointe and to Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Summers Jr.; her brothers Perry (Merle) Bowers, Gary (Stephanie) Bowers, and Robert Bowers; her grandchildren Kendra and Gregory Summers; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Harold Summers; her son William Summers; brothers Leonard Bowers and Harold (Red) Bowers; her sister Shirley Williams; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Maisie Bowers; and her maternal grandparents, William and Florence Albee.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
