Mary Lou (Weaver) Abbey

Mary Lou “LuLu” Abbey, 84, of Conneaut, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 21, 2023. She was born August 18, 1938, in Meadville, PA, the daughter of Fred and Margaret (Coleman) Weaver.

LuLu graduated from Girard High School and had been employed with Campers Corner, Community Action, and Comfort Keepers.

She enjoyed going to car shows and horse shows, watching wrestling, but most of all, loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

LuLu is survived by her children Stacy (Gary) Wanda and Doug (Tracy) Abbey, Jr., and grandchildren Rex (Kate) Drummond and Laci Abbey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Doug Sr., in 2002.

At her request there will be no public services observed. A private family celebration of life service was held Sunday, July 23, 2023.
