Michael C. Burns

Michael C. Burns, 54, of Conneaut, passed away at his home on January 7, 2022. He was born October 12, 1967, the son of Joseph and Mary Anne (Heasman) Burns.

Following graduation from Bellevue High School, Michael joined the National Guard and attended Toledo University graduating with his bachelor’s degree. He worked as a financial auditor before becoming disabled.

He had a love for the outdoors enjoying golfing with the Sleepy Hollow Golf Club, boating, fishing, and finding beach glass along the shores of Lake Erie. He was an avid Cleveland Sports fan and would love to play Euchre on Saturday nights, but most of all he loved his friends and family, especially his children.

He was a member of the Conneaut Eagles #408 where he was the treasurer.

Survivors include his daughter Kaitlyn Burns of Raleigh, NC; two sons Austin and Brennan Burns both of Raleigh, NC, and his brother James (Cheryl) Burns of Bellevue, OH.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; and his sister Cindy Eigel.

The Eagles Lodge, 171 Main St., Conneaut, OH 44030, will be hosting a Celebration of Life gathering on Friday January 14, 2022, beginning at 5:00PM.
