Michael Struchen

Michael Struchen, 65, passed away on Saturday September 24th, 2022 at Carington Park in Ashtabula, after a lengthy illness. 

He was born January 18th, 1957 in Erie, PA. He was the son of Clyde Struchen and Judith (Whitford) Struchen. Mike graduated from Conneaut High School, class of 1975.

 A lifelong resident of the area, he enjoyed scuba diving, playing flight simulator, and being on the computer where he listened to music and talked to family and friends often. He also enjoyed Friday nights attending races at Raceway 7. Michael was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

 He also was a proud veteran from the Air Force and Marine Corps.

Mike is survived by his wife Robin Struchen; his father Clyde Struchen; children, Rhiannon (Sean) Stolder, Shannon (Brian) Eddy, and Leannon (Scott Fritts) Struchen; grandchildren, Ryder and Evelynn Stolder, Kora and Rosclyn Eddy and William Fritts; siblings, Brian ( Sandy) Struchen,  Kelly Santos, and Randy (Deanna Ekroth) Struchen and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Judith Struchen and his niece Kelly Gates. 

Mike will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

A combined celebration of life will be announced by family at a later time. 

The arrangements have been entrusted to the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
