Milton L. Maurer

Milton L. Maurer, 80 of Kingsville, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020. He was born September 23, 1939 in Andover, OH, and was the son of Arthur and Eleanor (Baker) Maurer.

Milton was a graduate of Rowe High School and worked in maintenance for Spring Team, Inc. in Austinburg and True Temper in Saybrook. He was a lifelong member of Family Fellowship Church and was very active. He loved working on tractors and had bought and sold hundreds of tractors in his lifetime.

Survivors include his wife Lida (Huston) Maurer; his daughters Brenda (Steve) Robbins, Monroe Twp., Barbara (Carlos) Barahona, Honduras;  his sons Jerry (Carrie) Maurer of LaGrange, IN, Jeff (Joy) Maurer of Conneaut, James (Stephanie) Maurer of Virginia Beach, and Jason (Tiffany) Maurer of Virginia Beach; 21 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; his sister Eleanor Huston of Monroe Twp.; and his brother Charles (Wilma) Maurer of Kelloggsville; and several nieces, nephews, and more distant relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Dorothy Phelps; and his brothers Richard and Donald Maurer.

Graveside service will be 2:00PM, Friday, February 28, 2020 in Evergreen Cemetery, Pierpont, OH, with Pastor Dan Halstead officiating.

Celebration gathering will follow the graveside service from 3:00-5:00PM at the Family Fellowship Church, 641 Mill St. Conneaut, OH. Anyone who would like to pay their respect to Milton’s family are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Nueva Esperanza.
