Monna Fae Maginnis

Monna Fae Maginnis 91 of Conneaut, OH passed away peacefully at Tri-Point Medical Center in Painesville, OH on July 4, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1934 to Paul and Hazel (Morris) Gentile in Bon Meade, Pennsylvania.

She had a love of reading and doing crossword puzzles, playing scratch off tickets and when she was able, going to the casino. Football was her favorite sport to watch and was a huge supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and in her younger years playing golf.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Maginnis of San Jose, Cal.; a twin sister and best friend Donna Kunkel of Conneaut, OH; grandchildren Jennifer Townsend, Autumn Maginnis, Travis Maginnis, Trevor Maginnis, Michael Maginnis, Christopher Maginnis and Joseph Cardoza; great grandchildren Amelia, Dominic, Harper, Ayden, Alison, Abigail, Mark Jr., and Olivia; Nieces Nancene Kunkel of Conneaut, Shirlene Bramer of Perry and Mary Ellen Carlin of Industy, PA. and a nephew Robert Kunkel of San Jose, Cal.

Monna was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Maginnis in March of 2026,and a brother Darrell Gentile.

Keeping with Monna’s wishes, there will not be services observed.
