Nancy C. (Green) Dawson

Former Conneaut resident, Nancy C. Dawson, 90, of Auburn, CA, died Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital in Auburn, CA. She was born August 5, 1932, in Conneaut, the daughter of Robert (Marvin) Green and Sarah (Clemens) Green.

A Conneaut resident most of her life, Nancy attended Hiram College and worked for 10 years at Fisher Big Wheel Store in Conneaut. She had many friends in Conneaut and in Auburn, CA where she relocated in 2014. Nancy was a member of the former First United Methodist Church in Conneaut. She enjoyed, golf, bowling, and playing cards with her friends.

Survivors include her daughter Sally (Greg) Dipuccio of Auburn, CA; her son Robert Dawson of Houston, TX; four grandchildren Ryan (Banjoe) Dawson and Matthew Dawson of Woodlands, TX, Jay (Karrie) Punkar of Florence, MT, and Kari (Jasper) Ortiz of Sacramento, CA; five great-grandchildren Rayden and Remmington Dawson, Ruthie Punkar, and Lettie and Eden Ortiz.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray E. Dawson, and her son William Lee Dawson.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the mausoleum at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Rt. 20, North Kingsville, OH, with Rev. Russ Ham of New Leaf United Methodist Church officiating.
