Pearle M Brand

Pearle M Brand, 81 of Conneaut, Ohio died Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 1, 1943 in Conneaut, Ohio to Bernard and Lulu (Hall) Gee.

She attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church growing up and graduated from Rowe High School in 1961. After graduation, she worked for Brown Memorial Hospital for 15 years before moving to Alabama with her husband James, whom she married July 21, 1967.

Pearle was a quite simple person and enjoyed the outdoors gardening fresh vegetables and raising and breeding her German Shepherds.

Her love for family was evident, always staying connected with her nieces and nephews while living so far away. Ten years ago, following her beloved husband’s death, she returned to Conneaut to be closer to her family.

Pearle is survived by two brothers, William Gee of Trussville, Alabama and George (Wanda) Gee of Youngsville, Pennsylvania. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and a special friend Carolyn Fulmer of Alabama, and special sister-in-law who helped care for her for the last few months Billie Gee of Conneaut.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James “Jimmy” Brand; three brothers Gerald, Alfred and David Gee and two sisters Barbara Barnes and Arlene Carpenter.

Celebration of Life will be 12:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2024 at The Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH who has been entrusted with her arrangements.

A private burial will take place in East Conneaut Cemetery.
