Phyllis Tome Obituary

Phyllis M. Tome 86 of North Kingsville passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 16, 2026 at her home. She was born October 22, 1939 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to Clarence and Mildred (Zuercher) Bohrer.

Phyllis was a high school graduate and a homemaker most of her life.

She was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness where she and her husband Larry would travel all over with their food trailer providing meals to hundreds of people building each Kingdom Hall over the years.

Phyllis loved to cook and can, gardening and being outdoors watching wildlife, watching the weather channel often and caring for family and friends. Her greatest joy was being with her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren brought so much love and joy to her heart.

Surviving her are her children Katie (Brian) Martin of Minerva OH, Kathy (Tim) Little of North Kingsville, Karla (Ben Manuel) of Conneaut, OH and Steve (Tracy) Tome of Albion, PA; grandchildren Rachel (Tim) Whitfield, Samuel Tome, Nicolas Nolan, Vincent Nolan, Alexis Flack, Brandon Martin and Dustin Martin; two great grandchildren Lilliana Nolan and Vada March.

Preceding her in death is her parents; her husband and love of her life Larry whom she married June 13, 1959, a brother Donald Bohrer and half-sister Dorothy Bohrer.

In keeping with Phyllis’s wishes, there will be a private zoom service held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness at the convenience of her family.
