Reese was the most beautiful outdoor cat and got her name from her coat color being that she looked liked Reese Peanut Butter Cups. Her long dark calico coat like none we have ever seen before. Her face so pure and innocent. Big yellow-green eyes looking for affection but too scared to go about it, being that she was about 1 year old, she was unsure of things, but felt safe enough around us to come up and smell us from time to time.
She was brought over to our parking lot by her father, a gray stray we named “Smokey.” He brought her over one day to eat and she has been coming ever since. Her favorite meal was Friskies Pate Tuna. She could not wait for us to put it out for her.
We wanted so badly to take her in but were unable to, so we did our best to show her love from afar by taking care of her and the others. She loved lounging in the parking lot watching birds steal pieces of the dry cat food. Anytime she stopped over, and the other cats were around, she would greet them with gentle head bumps.
We are glad to have been graced by her presence and are going to miss her every day. We love you and miss you Reese, until we meet again…
