Robert Neal Smith

Robert N. Smith, 78, of Conneaut, passed away Thursday March 26, 2020 at his home.  He was born September 14, 1941 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of Joseph & Betty (Tanner) Smith.

Robert retired from Raytheon as a machinist.  He belonged to the Conneaut Moose, Eagles and the American Legion Cowle Post #151 and was a former member of the Mason’s.

He enjoyed fishing, green house gardening, wood working especially furniture & cabinets and loved to read.  

Survivors include his wife Dorothy (Juhasz) whom he married in 1963. Children, Patricia Smith-Dawson, Becky Smith-Thomas and Joseph Smith; mother Betty Smith; granddaughter, Shannon Fillinger.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Neal and Nora Tanner, father and a sister, Ella Joan Stewart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
