Robert L. Tennant

Robert L. Tennant 74, of Conneaut, passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 13, 2023. He was born May 10, 1949 in Ashtabula, the son of Lonnie and Eithel (Spencer) Tennant.

Robert was a 1967 graduate of Conneaut High School and worked for RMI and the former Millennium for forty years combined.

He was a quiet and humble man, loving the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, bowling with his wife Karin at the former Kings Lanes and El Camp lanes, and playing an occasional round of golf. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with each of them, especially his siblings who were his very best friends.

Survivors include his wife Karin (Chapin) who he married on December 14, 1968; two daughters Kim Tennant of Northfield, OH, and Cheryl (Andy) Hopkins of Akron and their children Kira and Quinn; a sister Mary (Stan) Read of Monroe, Twp; and two brothers Larry (DeAnna) and Ronald Tennant, both of Monroe, Twp.; and sister-in-law Janice Tennant of Conneaut.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Heather Lynn in infancy, and brother William Tennant.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH. Inurnment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Garden Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
