Roger James Hatch

Roger J. Hatch, 66, of Conneaut, passed away unexpectedly Thursday July 27, 2023 at UMPC Hamot in Erie, PA. Born September 4, 1956 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Clyde and Shirley (Baker) Hatch, Sr.

Roger retired from truck driving and was known on the CB by friends and family as “The Gambler”.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, motorcycle riding, gambling at the casino (hence is nickname.)  He went to breakfast every Saturday with his son Mike and enjoyed being with family and close friends that he considered his family.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Emmy (Robinson) whom he married July 27, 1974; children, Mike (Becky) Hatch, Theresa Pauley, and Audra (Joe) Hudson; grandchildren, Julie, Erika, Zachary, Abigail, Marissa, Garett, and Ivy; great-grandchild Stella; siblings, Clyde (Jane) Hatch, Jr. and Regina (Kim) Luliano; aunt and uncles, Betty (Jim) Burnett, Lee Baker, Cliff (Pam) Baker; nieces and nephews, Brooke, TJ, Ryan, and Bobby Hatch and Gary Baker and his dog, Nitro.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert Hatch.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday August 12, 2023 starting at 1:00 PM at Roger’s house, 3896 Center Rd. Conneaut, Ohio 44030.
