Shane J. Bambarger, 53, of Geneva, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 15, 2024.
Shane grew up in Howard, Pennsylvania and Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Donald R. Bambarger Sr., and Lola Bambarger and was a 1988 graduate of Conneaut High School.
Shane is survived by the loves of his life: Ex-wife Linda and children Francesca, Christopher and Olivia.
Family members Lola Bambarger and siblings, Don (Linda) Bambarger of Albion, Pa, Meleah (Chris) Pustalek of South Bend, In, Colette (Paul) Baker, of Chapel Hill, Tn, Mike (Melissa) Bambarger of Conneaut, Ohio, and Michele (Chris) LaFlamme of McKean, Pa., and many nieces and nephews.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, Don, nephews Donald R. Bambarger III and Shane M. Bambarger.
Shane worked for Delta Railroad for many years and was very proud of his ability to be a leader and his ability to run any piece of heavy equipment there was. Shane was most recently employed with Kokosing Construction. Was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, IUOE Local 18, Cleveland, Ohio.
Shane was an avid cat lover, to include MoMo, Voodoo, Casper, and Kitty. Shane also loved his dog, Riley.
Shane was one of those guys that was simply good at everything he did: work, sports and hobbies. Shane was an avid dirt track racer and fan, driving both modifieds and late models. Shane played football, wrestled and played baseball.
A time of sharing memories will be 1:00 PM, Monday April 22, 2022 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH. Burial will follow in East Conneaut Cemetery; no services will be observed at the grave.
Visitation will be Monday from 11:30 until the time of remembrance at 1:00PM.
