Sharon K Artrip

Sharon K. Artrip, 82, passed away, Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born June 8, 1944 in Conneaut, the daughter of Ray and Doris (Scott) Dalrymple.

Sharon graduated from high school and worked in the bakery at Orlando Brothers Golden Dawn. She enjoyed birdwatching, crafting, crocheting, and watching NASCAR races. Above all, Sharon cherished the time she spent with her family creating memories.

Survivors include her son Steven (Lorna) Bennett of Conneaut; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother Gerald (Alice) Dalrymple of Conneaut.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and first husband Thomas Bennett while serving in the Philippines during Vietnam; her second husband James Artrip; son Daniel Bennett; and brother Donald Dalrymple.

At Sharon’s request, no services will be held. Inurnment will be held in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.

Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut has been entrusted with arrangements.
