Shelly Elaine Burns-Fox

Shelly Elaine Burns-Fox, 61 of Warren and formerly of Kingsville passed away unexpectedly August 22, 2022 at UH Geauga Medical Center.  She was born December 5, 1960 in Ashtabula, Ohio the daughter of Sherman Eli and Letta (Cogan) Burns. 

Shelly graduated from Edgewood High School class of 1980. 

She was currently working for Kraft Maid.  Shelly enjoyed woodwork and learned how to restore furniture from her father. 

Previous employment included work as a Home Health Aid and as a Life Skills Coach with mentally challenged individuals.  Shelly had a caring personality and loved helping others. 

Shelly had a passion for gardening and crafting.  She loved caring for rescue animals.  Over the years she had cats, rabbits, horses and dogs.  She especially loved her dachshund, Cody.  Shelly also enjoyed sewing and made many Halloween costumes for her children and people she worked with as a Life Skills Coach. 

Shelly collected antiques.  She enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets with her daughters. 

Survivors include her children, Nicole Horton Robinson with fiance Ronald Ames II, and Danielle Horton; siblings, Sherman (Lori) Burns and Letta Shea along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Cassandra Lynn Horton. 

Burial will take place in Kelloggsville Cemetery with her daughter Cassandra. 

The arrangements have been entrusted to the Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
