Shirley Mae (Thompson) Reinke

Shirley Mae Reinke, 81, of Albion, PA, went home to be with her Lord on Monday afternoon, January 8, 2024 with her sister by her side at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. She was born in Erie on May 18, 1942 to the late Charles and Arlene Thompson and graduated from Rowe High School in Conneaut, OH.

She married her late husband Chuck Reinke on April 11, 1964. Together they raised their two children Tracy Reinke and Tim (Pat) Reinke. Shirley also leaves behind her dear granddaughter Alana.

Shirley attended Albion Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed going on trips with the Federated Church Senior Center. She enjoyed reading, yard sales, and most especially spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children and granddaughter and also her sister Linda Thompson, brother Dean Thompson, brother-in-law William Carlson, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Vonna Carlson, and brothers Leslie and Ronny Thompson.

Funeral service will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with burial following in Springfield Cemetery, East Springfield, PA.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, January 15, 2024 and also on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at noon.
