Sylvia M. (Brown) Ensell

Sylvia M. (Brown) Ensell, 82, of Ashtabula, moved on to her next life February 17, 2023. Sylvia was born February 13, 1941 in Reading, England, the daughter of Herbert William George Brown “Bill” and Kathleen Sydney Joan Brown “Joan”.

Sylvia moved to the United States and became a U.S. Citizen in 1970.

She loved animals, especially dogs. Sylvia was an avid Ford Mustang lover as well as Ford F150 trucks.  Music interests of Sylvia were rock and roll.  Ozzy Osbourne was one of her many favorites, she was able to meet Ozzy at one of his concerts.

Sylvia always laughed and had a beaming smile she shared with everyone she encountered.  Her passions were walking miles per day and loved to dance.  She always had her eye to the sky to watch aircraft fly by and leave contrails behind.

Sylvia will be greatly missed by family and friends.  Survivors include her brother, Royston (Elaine) Brown of Reading, England; children, Steven Hill and Paul Hill both of Ashtabula, Shannon (Vincent, Jr.) Mucci of Roaming Shores; four grandchildren, Vincent III, and Zachary Mucci, Steven, and Tyler Hill all of Ashtabula; great-grandsons, Owen, Dominic, and Collin Mucci, Carter, Colby, and Carson Hill, great-granddaughter, Catherine Hill.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents.

Sylvia will be laid to rest with her parents in Reading, England.  No services will be held locally.
