Thomas L. Barris

Thomas Lloyd Barris, age 67, of Conneaut OH, passed away on September 14, 2023, at home. He was born on January 19, 1956. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Palo Barris and Floyd Barris, his twin brother, Timothy Barris, and his son Thomas Jeremy Barris.  

Survived by his wife of 38 years, Sue Pitzer Barris, his daughters Charity Spinelli (Ron) and Destiny Barris, stepdaughter Carrie (John) Polaski, stepson Roger French, 10 grandchildren (Kaitlyne, Justin, Kristian, Austin, Alex, Megan, Chance, Devin, Destiny, & Blake) and 4 great grandchildren (Avery, Addison, Austin & Sno). Also survived by his sister, Judy (Brad) Riddle and 3 brothers Brad (Connie) Barris, Gary (Wanda) Barris, and Bill (Pam) Barris. Tom is further survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Tom was a United States Army veteran, stationed with his family in beautiful locations such as California and Hawaii, and being deployed overseas to both Australia & Korea.  

Tom loved working on cars, trucks, and motorcycles, spending many hours in the garage with his sons and grandsons working to get vehicles ready for races.  

Tom had a witty sense of humor, although inappropriate at times, and anyone who knew Tom could expect a conversation full of laughter.  

Tom did not want any services of any kind; therefore, his family will be respecting his wishes and will have a private memorial.
