Thomas G. Rodgers, 92, of Conneaut, OH, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024 at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on November 9, 1932 to Scott E. and Myrtle (Mealey) Rodgers in Oil City, PA.
Tom worked as a machine operator at General Electric and as a maintenance man for Conneaut Schools. He was a member of the Keepville Wesleyan Church where he was song leader. A man of many talents, he enjoyed woodworking and photography, but most of all he loved singing for the Lord.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Cole) Rodgers whom he married on Oct.10, 1953; daughter Cynthia Misch of Conneaut; son Jeffrey (Stacy) Rodgers of Mifflinburg, PA; grandchildren: Douglas (Lindsay) Misch, Thomas R. Misch, Stephanie Rodgers, Brittany (Sandy) Grillo, Tyler (Nicole) Walter, Caleb (Madison) Walter, Cain (Emily) Walter; and 8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Thomas S. Rodgers; brothers Paul, John, Boyd and Don Rodgers; sisters Helen Rodgers and Rosemary Bowen; and son in law Thomas W. Misch.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wed. Dec.11, 2024 at East Conneaut Wesleyan Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with a calling hour from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
Interment will take place in East Conneaut Cemetery at the convenience of his family.
