Tom Martin Hall, 68, of Conneaut, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was born in Conneaut on December 5, 1956, to James “Jimmie” and Elizabeth “Alicia” (Smith) Hall. Tom graduated from Conneaut High School, and he worked hard all his life. The roles he took on in the workplace included self-employed contractor, school bus driver for Conneaut City Schools, and reliable employee of Transplastics Inc./Bailey Transportation, where he worked for thirty years. He was a member of the Lake Erie Boat Club, Conneaut Moose lodge 472, and the Conneaut Eagles #408. He served his community in many ways over the years, including volunteering at a local food pantry, knitting hats for charity, and caring for hospice patients. Tom’s zeal for life was apparent in his passions for fishing, hunting, boating, perusing flea markets, riding motorcycles, and drag racing at Thompson Speedway.
He is survived by his daughter Roxanne (Robert) Ervin of Easley, SC; his granddaughters Josslyn and Jillian Ervin of Easley, SC; his sister Tricia (Lois) Hall of Akron, OH; his brother Richard Hall of Gerry, NY; and the mother of his daughter, Heidi Hall of Easley, SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marcia Reed.
Celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Lake Erie Boat Club, 1207 Broad St., Conneaut, OH.
