Virginia M. Plosila, 99, of Conneaut, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 12, 2021 at UH Conneaut Medical Center. She was born May 28, 1921 in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of Edward and Marion (Snyder) Lesperance.
Virginia was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and enjoyed knitting in her early years, and watching golf on TV.
Survivors include her daughter Susan (Robert) Wallace of Conneaut; her son John (Madeleine) Plosila of Conneaut; her step-son Walter (Laura) Plosila of Maryland; grandchildren Matthew Plosila of NY, Edward Plosila of Conneaut, Michelle (James) Mapes of Columbus, Danielle (Adam) Neubauer of Lyndhurst, and Amanda Davey of Akron; and great-grandson Leo Neubauer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Arthur Plosila; a brother in infancy and her sister and brother-in-law June and Jacob Kesatie.
Private graveside service will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 in St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
