Walter W. Cole, 91, of Monroe Township passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born October 24, 1932, in Conneaut, the son of Arthur and Josephine (Anderson) Cole.
Walter attended Rowe and enlisted in the United States Army serving from 1956 until 1958. After his honorable discharge he worked for his brother’s business, Robert A. Cole Plastering.
He was a member of the State Line Church and enjoyed fixing tractors and cars, helping on home improvement projects, watching car races on TV, and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife Janet (Burlingham) Cole, whom he married April 20,1956; his son Mark Cole of Conneaut; his daughters Sherri (Mike) Lazanis of Dorset and Barbara (Chris) Pendleton of Ashtabula; his brother Gary (Betty) Cole of Monroe Twp; his sisters Pauline Terrill of Conneaut and Nancy Kotnick of Monroe Twp; his grandchildren Zachary (Michaela Rodgers) Cole of Kingsville, Ashley (John Diemer) Dubiel of Madison, Katie Woodworth of Dorset, and Christopher (Jessica Kruczewski) Pendleton of Linesville, PA.; great-grandchildren Mason and Emily Dubiel, and Michael, Gabriel and Izabella Pendleton; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Donna Rogerson; his brother Robert; his sister Charlotte Loomis; his brothers-in-law Jim Loomis, Alfred Terrill, and John Kotnick and sister-in-law Rachel Cole.
Funeral service will be 11:00am, Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut. Burial will follow in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Monroe Township.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Monday, June 3, 2024, at the funeral home.
