Walter G. Walbridge

Walter G. Walbridge, 79, of Monroe Twp., passed away unexpectedly Sunday October 15, 2023 at his home.  Born August 2, 1944 in West Springfield. Pa., he was the son of Lee and Mary Lou (Griffey) Walbridge, Sr.

Walter served in the National Guard. He retired from Reliance Electric after forty plus years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his sons, David Walbridge, and Erick (Sharon) Walbridge; grandchildren, Andrew and Jordan; siblings, Martha Hills, Katherine Fredericks, and Lee “Norm” Walbridge, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sandra and his son Craig.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday October 19, 2023 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.

No service will be held.

The burial will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville at a later date.
