William J. McFadden

William J. McFadden, 75, of Conneaut, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at his home.  He was born May 19, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Robert McFadden and Ida (Clemens) Gill.

He retired from Premix.

William enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, watching westerns, was a big Cleveland sports fan, loved to tell jokes, and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He coached and donated his time for twenty plus years at CLYO.

Survivors include his mother, Ida Gill; his sons, Tim (Heidi), William, Mike (Holli) and John McFadden; grandchildren, Zach, Nathan, Danica, Trinity, Tara, Devion, Jadyn, Jacee, Shane, Teegan, Alyssa and Hadlee; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Gracie, Charlie, and Anthony; step mother, Jean McFadden; siblings, Christina (Bob) Leffel, Karen (Tim) Shaffer, Kathy (Bob) Denton, Sandra McFadden, Dolores Wolf, Ella (Jack) Williams, Rhonda (Darrell) Atwood, Diane (Ron) Urch and Dan (Pat) McFadden and  Scott (Pam) Gill.

He was preceded in death by his father, wife Linda and brother Bob.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.  There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Marcy Family Center immediately after the service from 4:00-6:00 PM

In Lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the CLYO.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
