William A. Seeley, 79, of Springboro, PA, passed away Friday morning, February 3, 2023. He was born March 17, 1943 in Meadville, the son of William E. and Murial (Staley) Seeley.
William enlisted in the United States Army, serving for two years. He Worked construction for Koski Construction in Ashtabula, OH. He was a member of the Local Labors Construction Union #245 and the Ashtabula County Coon Hunters Association. He enjoyed coon and rabbit hunting, gardening, landscaping, and doing puzzles. Most of all, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandbabies, they were his pride and joy.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Vera (McElhinney) Seeley, whom he married November 7, 1964; his daughters Norma (Frank) Chapin of Cortland, OH, Beth (Mark) Ellingson of Conneaut, OH, and Kathy Seeley of Springboro, PA; his step-son David (Diane) Deeter of Cochranton, PA; his grandchildren Eric (NoElle) Blood, Chad Blood, Joshua Blood, Alicia (Joshua) Patton, Corey (Jackie) Blood, Devion Romanski, and Jamie Davis; step-grandchildren Matthew Deeter, Melissa (Kyle) Williams, and Monica Blood; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Caroline Miller, Rita Seeley, Pauline Hollabaugh, and Florence Brunot; and brother Wayne Seeley.
Per William’s request, no services will be held.
