Bill enjoyed picnics, camping, and fishing with his family and friends.  Bill enjoyed many cross county motorcycle trips and a lifetime of jogging and walking for fitness.  Bill started a Christmas tree farm where he met and enjoyed the company and stories of many local residents and neighbors.  During the winter months Bill, with Christine always at his side, wintered in Ft. Myers, Florida where he became an accomplished shuffleboard competitor.  Bill was a member of the First Baptist Church, Evergreen Lodge #222 of Free and Accepted Masons and the American Legion for over 50 years each.  Bill also enjoyed golf, playing cards, bowling, and working with area youth as a baseball umpire and Scout Leader.  Bill had absolute love of his country and especially for God and family.  Bill was preceded in death by his father Stanley and mother Malvena, his brothers, Jack and Lorance “Bud” a sister Evelyn and a brother-in-law Stearle “Butch”.  Bill is survived by his wife Christine “Chris” Gunsallus Wasson; a son William S.
