Wilson “Willie” D. Cole passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 15, 2024, two days before his 91st birthday. Willie was born on September 17, 1933, in Monroe Township, Conneaut Ohio, the son of Glenn and Irene Cole.
He attended Conneaut High School and then served in the US Army. He was then employed at True Temper for 28 years. On July 6, 1960, he married his loving wife Patricia Tenney.
Willie enjoyed doing many things in life which included john deer tractors, farming, gardening, rodeos, watching bull riding, listening to country music, going to sporting events of his children and grandchildren, the Cole reunion, family parties, having lunch with his friends, and helping his best friend Lee Smith with sleigh rides, But the thing he cherished and enjoyed the most was the time he spent with his family.
Willie is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia; children, Tammie Fausnaught (Doug), Lori Danielson (Randy), Bill Cole (Kristy); 10 grandchildren; Kristy Johnson (Kirk), Theresa Cornwell (Paul), Caiden Feldmiller, Kileigh Barnett, Madisyn Cole, Lydia Cole, Toni Parker (Corey), Nikki McCutcheon (Matt), Jesse Cole, Amanda Walkiewicz and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Lois Detrick, a sister-in-law, Leota Cole and brother-in-law, Charles Maurer.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents; a son Wayne, brother Clarence “Coley” and his twin sister Wilma Maurer.

Friends and family are invited to call Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 10am until the time of the service at 11am at the Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty Street, Conneaut, Ohio. Burial will be private for the family at Kelloggsville Cemetery.
